Pneumatic is a technology using compressed air or inert gases to generate mechanical force to power air motors, cylinders and other pneumatic devices used in industry, construction, dentistry, mining, etc. Pneumatic equipment is more flexible and safer and improve the level of industrial capability in every field in lower cost.
Pneumatic hoist (also called air chain hoist) is very similar to electric chain hoist in features, except it has a compressed air feed instead of an electric power supply.
The main advantage of the pneumatic hoist is that it is 100% duty cycle which means it is suitable for constant use such as a production line. The pneumatic hoist is particularly suitable for long lifts where an electric hoist would overheat and for potentially explosive environments where sparks can cause explosion and an electric power source cannot be used.
The pneumatic pulling hoist (or pneumatic Tirfor) is particularly suitable for operating on construction sites and in industries where there is a danger of explosions or in industries already provided with compressed air facilities.
