Winch

About Winches in Hardwire

Winch is a widely used device in industry for pulling loads or adjusting the tension of a wire rope and operates by cable-pulley mechanism.

The simplest winch is a spool attached to a lever. More Complex ones have gear and are powered by electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and internal combustion drives. Winches may have a brake to prevent it from unwinding unless the latch is retracted.

  • Electric Winch

An electric winch is a device used for pulling, lifting or positioning loads. Electric winches are used in many different industries including marine industries, agricultural work, telecommunication industries, and towing applications like in tow trucks or off road vehicles.

Electric winches are fast and efficient, easy to install and transfer, affordable and make less noise than hydraulic or manually powered ones.

An electric winch is a device used for pulling, lifting or positioning loads. Electric winches are used in many different industries including marine industries, agricultural work, telecommunication industries, and towing applications like in tow trucks or off road vehicles.

Single phase winches are popular since they are light, portable, easy to install and less expensive than other types of electric winch. They can also be installed either at height or on the ground.
